Volunteer Stewardship
All Good Shepherd Parish volunteers are required to participate and complete the Called and Gifted program. Every one of us has been called by Christ through our Baptism to a unique mission and we have been given gifts from the Holy Spirit to understand our gifts and missions. This discovery is called discernment and it enables us to understand God’s individual plan for each of us.
The Process: All volunteers take a Spiritual Gifts “inventory” at one of the scheduled workshops. The inventory takes approximately 20 minutes. At a later date, the volunteer meets with a certified interviewer who helps them to further identify and understand their gifts. This process could take between 60-90 minutes the outcome is beneficial for a life time!
